Never say never. Somebody might say, "I've got a spare PRS I don't use, you can have it for nothing."

You'd really say no?

Have you ever played one? They don't all have ridiculous headstock designs, and they are ridiculously well made guitars that play and sound fantastic. My Hellraiser is simply flawless. Does everything from bright clean to slightly raunchy, to dark dark dark grind.

Headstock design isn't too crazy here...

I also have a Schecter Raiden bass that I will put up against any P/J type bass any day of the week.

Those are stock pics. I never got around to taking any individual pics of it because it doesn't really stand out visually, but it plays like a MF dream and has a great tonal range with the passive pickups.

My newest Schecter is this little beauty where I can see how you just COULD NOT STAND THE HEADSTOCK SHAPE... Lol. Hey, to each their own. I prefer to see how a guitar plays and sounds before I count it out.

Hell I'll own anything if the price is right.

PRS, I'm sure they are great instruments, but I'd rather play a "Hello Kitty" Squier then be seen with a PRS.

Any brand that only makes modern gear. Mesa, Dean, Suhr, Schecter etc.

Amps:
Boogie. They may well be fantastic, but I've never heard one I would pay for.
Hughes and Kettner. WAY too many knobs. And "as above".

Guitars:
Any relic.
I've had my Tele for 20 years and it's seen thousands of gigs. No exaggeration. Yet compared to some of these "canned mojo" faked-up try-hard relics, it looks mint. Relic, schmelic.

Pedals:
Anything with a ridiculous booteek pricetag. $500 for a stompbox that took an hour to make with $10 worth of parts? I think not.

I'll probably never own a Gretsch. I have Gibson's, Fenders, PRS SC250 ( and it's a wonderful guitar) Ricky, Dano, Breedloves and a Schecter Solo Vintage. I've always wanted a White Falcon but after all this time I dont think I'd ever spring for one. If I win the lotto I'd get one but I never play the lotto. Pics for the PRS and Schecter haters.

To me there is no such make or brand, if the guitar looks decent, sounds decent and plays well, I can't see why I would not own it

PRS is the first that came to mind. Then Mesa, Behringer, Eggnator, Kustom, Jackson, Schecter, BC Rich.............and a banjo.

The problem with buying some handmade instruments is it can ruin you for other brands. Since buying my first (of 4) Beneteau I've rarely been tempted by factory acoustics, though some other handmade acoustics have lured me in.

Pointy solidbodies will never come home with me.

My list would be very, very long
