What design idea do you like that is not massed produced?

Since my favorite solidbody (and guitar in general) is the Fender Telecaster and my favorite hollowbody is the 335, I thought a dual f-hole tele would be great.

To get the best of both worlds, it would be great to have one humbucker and one single coil, preferably the humbucker in the neck. I like Fender's idea of a bolt-on neck. While I was thinking of this design, I came across this:

Also, while looking up dual f-hole teles, I saw this from our very forums:

Wouldn't this be a great idea (different wood options) for Fender to mass produce from Fender to Squier?

I'd love to see a resurgence of Florentine cutaways and I'd love to have a Joe Pass Florentine cut in Natural with 24.75" Scale.

Gibson certainly had their chance, too!

Modular "quick change" pickups. I know it's been done on some guitar, but it would be cool if it caught on. What's the down side?

It was on those clear lucite guitars like Keef plays sometimes. Never caught on.

I think all pedals should come with a "dry" output jack. The bass big muff has one. It just lets you bypass the circuit if you want to run your clean signal to another amp.

It also has a "dry" option that lets you play with the levels of the fuzz while having your original signal at unity gain. Nice.

There are a lot more pickups to choose from now, so maybe it's time to try again.

You can install some type of plug on you guitar; and put them on all your pickups. That would make it plug and play.

I like the old Vox solid-bodies, the teardrop and the Phantom.

I like the Les Paul Junior/Melody Maker double-cut (not exzctly like the TVJr)
