update....

I played my first gig with the G&L last night. I am very happy. I used it all night , never even thought about the Sheraton II in the stand, ready in case of tuning problems or any other thing. The tone from this guitar is just wonderful, I got compliments all night. Most of these folks see us often so it means a lot to me when they come up and say wow! Also , the tuning is unbelievable. Rock Solid! I used the wangbar all the time with no prob.

played 2nd gig with g&l legacy last night. I have reset all sounds on the mustang V for the single coils and , wow ! I can't wait to get to the next gig. same strings from factory, d'darios i think by the colored ball ends. i didn't have to tune at all. came out of the bag in tune and stayed all night. what a great guitar! also , see my new pedal board. that was my big project for sat afternoon , worked great! 15 bucks for the wood and paint, Velcro.

Hello everyone!!! I need your advice :). I’m going to buy strat style guitar but I cant afford USA model. Recently I found out about tribute series and as I see there are made in korea and made in Indonesia models. 1. Could u tell me what is the difference between them and which one is better. 2. As I see on pics G&L legacy tribute guitars have very high gloss finishes that seems to be very thick and that make me to hesitate, as u know thick finish hurts transparency and bright clean sound. If u have G&L legacy tribute guitar please tell me how it sounds clean, does it like traditional fender Stratocaster ????
Thank you very much in advance :)

NGD for me as well with a Tribute Legacy! I traded an old amp for a 2006 blueburst. So far so good. The satin neck is really nice and flat. Guess now I have to learn to play with a whammy bar all over again. Haven't had a guitar with a whammy in over 20+ years lol.

Hendrix the finish is not thick its very thin and transparent. Can't speak on the Indonesian ones, but the Korean ones are very well made, and spanking clean.

Loving the snot out of my blueburst ASAT Special tribute. Amazing tone, great setup from the beginning and one I highly recommend to anyone interested in trying out a GL.

I'm really GASing for an ASAT Special right now, I've been wanting one for a while, but lately I've really been considering picking up a Tribute series model.

congrats....

Glad to see G&L getting more and more popular. I believe both USA and tributes are the best bang for buck guitars you can get.
