1930's Kay Deluxe Resonator Guitar

Hi,

I am thinking of placing a bid on this 1930's Kay Deluxe resonator guitar:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1930s-Kay-De...ht_1089wt_1325

Is there anyone who has experience with this guitar? Sound?

This would be my first dobro, and I have very little experience of them.

I will mainly use it for lap style playing.

Thanks
Philip

Some of the early Kays are great guitars on par with some of the big names of the day.

Here are a couple I used to have

Thanks for all replies. What a beauty you have got there, Hekavi!

Unfortunately the guitar was sold for $780, and a little over my budget.
