Best strap for Telecaster

I need a strap for a AV52ri. Can anyone recommend the best brand to get?

I just want one that's reliable so I don't damage my guitar, and something that's no too ugly.

Thanks

Hemp twine.
I like wide straps that distribute the weight.
Doesn't it all really depend upon you, your build, your guitars weight, et cetera?
You might like it hanging on the floor, how would I know?

I like the Fender tweed straps, super affordable and don't look to shabby either.

Eyeland - most comfortable straps I've ever had. Not cheap.

Just get the good-old Fender straps. I feel a strap should say the brand name of the guitar it is holding.

And you can choose a color to go with whatever color your guitar is:

I ponied up and bought a Franklin 2.5" in soft suede. Very comfortable and doesn't slip. (If you have a dog, he may love it more.)

Whatever black leather strap I got from Saeid's Music in Tulsa is the best strap I've ever had. Had it for 5 years, and it's not even close to being through. I like the Fender Tweeds a lot too.
