Recording Drums
Anyone have experience recording drums here? My brother and I have recently started recording them at home. We've been using a stereo setup with an L mic and R mic. Any tips on what kind of mics to use and what setups work the best? Help would be much appreciated.

If you only have 2 mics, do a google search on the Recorderman technique. It allows you to get a full sound, including the kick and snare with 2 mics while conserving a decent stereo spread without phase. It's all I use now (although I still use a snare and kick mic for reinforcement). It will seem counterintuitive, but it works really well.
