Agile Harm 1 2TS Sunburst P90

I've recently had a major GAS attack for something semi-hollow with P90s for rockabilly stuff. My CV Tele works good, and I certainly couldn't find a better guitar to cut through the mix, but I'm being tempted by the P90 crunch and warmth factor, and the semi-hollow woodiness. So I've been looking at Epiphone Wildkats and from everything I've read they're wonderful guitars (going to stop by GC tomorrow and see if I can find one to play), but I really don't need the Bigsby and I certainly wouldn't mind paying a little less.

So Rondo music has these Agile Harms that go for $339. Personally, I like the cream P-90s better than the metallic dog-eared ones on the Wildkat. Nice looking guitar too. Anyone here ever played one of these?

Haven't played one, but I've always liked the look of that guitar. The body is reminiscent of a Rickenbacker.

(And you can't go wrong with a pair of P-90s!)

I havent played the Harm but i have been lookin at their 12 string version.

I do have one of these though, its an Agile 2300 JNR and the ceramic P90 style are very good.I was originally going to swap them out but after i heard them they are staying in

Wild Kat may be hard to find but worth the effort, love my Kat.Epi does a nice job on them.Great build qualityand their P-90's are very good.Despite the many positive reviews of Rondo's stuff,I have an aversion to buying a guitar unplayed.JMHO

I feel the same way and would like to play one. But I guess there is a 30 day return policy. I see the Wildkats are going on Ebay for around $375-$400 average which isn't that much more than the Rondo when it comes down to it.

I played a Harm when they first came out when Rondo still had the store in Jersey. It played nice, but the interior is painted black, and the one I played was very sloppy looking on the inside. The paint wasn't smooth, it was bumpy. It didn't give a total semi-hollow vibe, but otherwise was a nice axe.

I opened the back up to check the wiring, i was going to gut it, was neat as a pin, very well done. I bought mine because i wanted a gretch corvette and or a LPS Junior this covered the bases. I can do all my own work especially wiring but this guitar hasnt needed a thing. I buy plent of guitars unplayed, i have a fetish for vintage and have to import, and never had a problem.

Tonyw, that looks very nice. Good to know their interior work is that good. Those inlays look so pretty, too. To the OP, I'dve bought one of those Harms a long time ago if I hadn't found a nice Epi Dot. Those Harms also have the advantage of the Tele-type switch, which I would immediately swap out to a 5-way and that thing would be DONE! Also, gotta love the no-dots on the fingerboard. Classy.

I have the exact model and color Harm that is in the original post. I've had it for probably three years or so, and I haven't changed anything on it. Neck feels and plays great, and the P90s are much much better than I expected: snarly or smooth depending on volume and amp used. It's also a pretty light weight guitar. For a few months this was the only guitar I played, I liked it that much - and I have a lot of guitars. I have a new Casino and a new Tele that I'm in love with right now, but the Harm 1 will be back in the rotation at some point soon. Bottom line for me is that this model was well worth the low price they're asking.
