Unexpected NGD - Yamaha contend

So I'm sitting on four acoustic guitars and sadly I just don't play them much any more. Yesterday I decided to take my 02 Taylor 810 down to GC just to see what it might be worth on a trade in. I was vaguely thinking of checking out the Les Pauls since I've never owned one and I've already got three Teles. Tried out several LP's and then noticed this guy sitting in a glass case all by itself. While the manager took the Taylor away to her office to appraise it I Plugged the Yamaha into a Twin and it was instant love. Happily she came back with a trade in figure that was more than expected and the deal got done.

Brand new Yamaha SA 2200 made at the Nippon Gakki factory Japan. Seperate push/push coil tap for each pup. This thing is definitely a Blues monster and I'm a happy guy.

she's a beauty !!! Yamaha makes great guitars !!! but don't tell anyone ... it will drive the price up !!! IMO an MIJ Yamaha is at the very least equivalent to any mass-produced MIA product ...

That's nice. I'm a fan of Yamahas in general; I own three acoustics made by them. Good guitars at a reasonable price - what a concept!

Beautiful. I have a couple Yamaha acoustics but nothing as nice as yours.

If you find some Yamaha factory tour videos on YouTube you'll be impressed.

Great guitar. Congratulations.

Gorgeous! I have an 80's SA1200S. It would take a life threatening family emergency before I would part with it.

Yamaha makes some nice stuff, I have a older classical that sounds very nice, and recently picked up Pacifica 112 that is suprisingly good.
