Watching The Girls Go By

Its summertime here in Ireland and the girls are looking fine in their summer dresses. We dont get a lot of sunshine here, and it is said that all our beautiful women are solar powered...

So post some videos here and show us some examples your local talent.

I'll get the ball rolling with this one from Lisa Hannigan, an Irish singer/songwriter. This girl is talented in every sense of the word.

90+ views and no girls yet??

So can nobody top Lisa Hannigan, or is the tdpri collective more interested in guys with beards and large beer-guts?

Here's a couple of local gals. They're pretty good, maybe someday they'll make it big...

I never thought I would enjoy hearing that song again, but that was beyond incredible. Stunning. Jason nailed the drum part and expanded on what his father did. Just great.

Those who have followed the "no depression/alt country" genre that surfaced in the late 80's may recall these gals from Louisville.

Freakwater

And these Louisville gals deserve mention.

Here is a local girl whom I enjoyed so much that I convinced her to go out with me (for nearly a year now, geez time flies)

and here is a girl that played at the venue where I work, she is a bit north of me, but I really enjoyed her set (a lot more than the headliners that night). Bonus points for performing in roller skates

Edit: I might as well post Danielle's website http://daniellesteward.weebly.com/ she has some free downloads available if you like what your hear in the video

Check out the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5p0AryAE6Bw

Bryn Davies and Sharon Gilchrist. My favorite bass and mandolin player respectively. Not local but I consider myself a very lucky man to have seen them perform about a dozen times over the years.

I just got to say, one of the biggest benefit of this forum is the opportunity to learn about music I never would have heard else. Not having seen every clip now, I bought Ana Mouraīs Desfado-album. I love the title with Danielle Steward; canīt you record this? Itīs a beautiful song.

Thank You all very much!!

If you go to the website I added to the bottom of my post, in the music section she has free downloads, that particular song is on her "Traveling On" EP, I am glad to hear you like it!
