My g/f has become a huge fan since I turned her on to them a few months ago. Fresh in an old-school kinda way. We watched their live broadcast last weekend on Axis TV, good ol' soul & rock. Lots of great music coming out of Alabama these days, it was a matter of time before one of these great artist got more exposure.
It's so country, it couldn't go pop with a mouthful of firecrackers.
They are touring right now and will be in Toronto in June.
Oh, and it's really, really great to see "different" music become popular.
"I hear Linda Ronstadt is looking for a guitar player" - Frank Zappa to Steve Vai, during Vai's audition
For every action, there is an unequal and opposite overreaction. - Newton's law of the Internet
Here they are on SNL doin same song. If you can't get excited about kids playin music like this then I don't know what to tell ya. Makes me smile though.
It's official: I'm a fan.
