History of Rock and Roll

Several Years ago we had broadcast in Australia a TV series called "the History of Rock and Roll". I think it was BBC (UK) production but it might not have been. It covered Rock and Roll right from early Scottish/Irish/African origins to the 80's. I have been trying to get it on DVD and have no luck. Has anyone come across this series on DVD and if you have, where can I get a copy?

I remember watching those...

would the ABC shop have a copy of the show?....

I'm watching a music show on SBS now where a guy goes to places and local artists play in a London cab...

Nashville today.... cool..:)

I reckon you might be thinking of the Tony Palmer series for the BBC in 1975? All You Need Is Love. All on YouTube.... program 1 :-

Nope, it was none of the above. I have tried the ABC shop etc and nothing. Keep the suggestions coming, got to get there eventually - I hope.

Nope again, thanks, but this programme would have been pre 2000. The Rock Britannia looks interesting though, might give it a look anyway.
