Badfinger Documentary

YT comments say this Badfinger Documentary was on VH1.

There are 6 parts of the Doc on YT.

Comments mention Dan Matovina's book about Badfinger.

Sadly out of print

Dan Matovina on Half.com

You can still find the book. I bought mine on Amazon a couple of years ago (used).

In my top 5 as well. Very sad this band wasn't able to get the attention they deserved. I have seen the documentary on Vh1 and also have Mantovina's book. IMO go get the book. Its a great read.

That's a fascinating documentary. I didn't really know who was responsible for those songs until about a year ago. One of my friends is currently in dental school in Minneapolis and he said one day he had an appointment scheduled with someone by the name of Joey Molland. My friend had no idea who this guy was, but he said Joey started talking about the days of working with the Beatles and playing the Concert for Bangladesh with people like Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan. Wish I could have been a dentist that day. It sounds like the remaining members of the group are still suffering from poor management.

Sadly Joey Molland is the only surviving member.

Hard to believe Pete Ham and Tom Evans wrote "Without You". Definately one of the biggest songs of the 70's.

Well, glad I got mine when I did then. Mine isn't the hardcover and I didn't pay anything close to that...probably more like 20 bucks or so.

I don't find it hard to believe at all, given the quality of their other work. The Nillsson version is way better than theirs though.
