seemed to me that Pete was having trouble dialing in his tone...and maybe I'm just a downer at this point, but I wasn't impressed with Beck's tone at all...though the performance was nice...and yes, the strings were awesome.

I agree... I think Jeff was a bit heavy handed on that too.
