Marc Ribot playing - tube vid

A different flavor of tele playing.
I've heard this guy's name before but never heard him play, and don't know too much about him, but I like it.

Really enjoyed that video. Offbeat playing in every sense.

I first heard Marc Ribot on Tom Waits' records. Check out his playing on 'Clap Hands':

I also enjoyed his work on Elvis Costello's Spike and Kojak Variety.

And fitted into the Lounge Lizzards pretty well too:



I always prefered him as a sideman over his solo stuff though.

Great guitarist, nevertheless.
