Black Keys at Lollapalooza
I'm watching the Black Keys at Lollapalooza on Youtube. Theyre my favorite band, but the show is just sloppy and sounds very weak. Any one else watching it that feels the same? I mean they have a good setlist and all, but it just isnt their best.

Funny, I just had three Facebook friends post that it was awesome. Such a great band.

it depends on the show..
some of the youtube stuff is good, and some is shot with a pocket camera... My favorites are there appearance on Austin City limits, and one of the older ones from Austraila..BBC sessions are good too.

The Black Keys are one of my favorite bands, and I was as excited to see them in concert as I have been for any band. However, I was disappointed in the concert. In my opinion, their music didn't translate well to an arena setting. I would love to see them in a smaller venue though, I think it would be a lot better.

I saw them in a small club when they were just starting to get popular. Dan played a tele with Bardens the whole night. Waaay too loud and bright. The audience was kids copping late 70's fashion and attitude...it was like the cast from "Drugstore Cowboy". Not a fun group of people to hang with. We left before the end...
