Soundgarden by light years. I found Audioslave quite boring and the name dumb.

What I'm saying is that when Soundgarden first hit the scene, there were a lot of bands that sounded similar ,but Audioslave had a somewhat unique blend of sounds. And don't forget I added (To Me).

I dunno. I just hear a loud, dumb, riff based rock band with Audioslave. Very radio friendly...

Then again, I'll never get the "genius" of tom morello...so he makes a bunch of noises...so do sonic youth, and their music is transcendent at times...

Soundgarden mixed punk with Zep with psychedelia. That's a heady brew

Audioslave sounds like RATM, only with the dude from SG on vox

(And +however many for the name sucking)

No offense, Audioslavers

Chris Cornell is incredible.. I'm voting Sound-garden but I'd listen to Cornell fart.

I wanted to like Audioslave, but I have to agree with Jazz Tele- it sounds like it was made to sell records and get played on hard rock stations- something isn't there in it.

Soundgarden was one of my favorite bands in the 90's, and I'm still impressed when I go back to their records.

Soundgarden.

Audioslave, like so many other "super groups" had no chemistry, IMO.

Gimme Rage Against The Machine anyday. If you have to scream, at least be really mad about something.

Soundgarden. Something about Audioslave just never clicked, but I prefer Rage over both of them.
