Ronnie Montrose
Heard the sad news he passed away. I did get to see him once with Gamma, great melodic play. Here is one clip of many.

Now there's a name i haven't thought of in a while. Sorry to hear he's gone. The first Montrose album was definitely background music for my high school days. He seemed like a real solid player-not real technical but knew how to get a good sound out of a Les Paul.

Oddly enough the day before he passed on I had just hunted down Town Without Pity on You Tube and sent it to the guys as a song I wanted to do. The next morning I wake up to read he died. RIP to a great rock guitarist.
