Those guys mesh like gears in a watch. ...and if you break out what one or the other it playing it may not sound quite right..but put them together...and you got it..

And both those guys are class acts, I think. Kenny plays backup in Marty's band, but when Kenny releases a "solo" album, Marty don't mind playing backup to Kenny. What other front man would do that?

I get upset because i cannot get his tv show on up here. Probably my favorite country song. Kind of reminds me of how Iron Maiden plays melodies in their solos... Marty and Kenny are doing it in country style. I just love that riff... it makes my smile every time I hear it.... never gets old.

Great stuff. Wish they had Marty's TV show on here (Time Warner duzzn't seem to provide RTV in the LA market). Boy he must spend some serious cash on those threads! Are those suits from Manuel in Nashville?
Swang on,

when i first heard "Country Boy Rockīn Roll, i had to introduce it to my band and now itīs a highlight of our shows. everybody regardless of age and taste seems to love that tune for its drive..... but it took me a couple of weeks to play this lead line in that tempo !!!

Handsome Harry and The Apostle Paul ain't no slouches either. Both are amazing vocalists-both lead and backing- with resumes a mile long. They don't seem to mind chilling out and team playing as well.

I just recently heard this tune and I love it. I wish we could play it my band, but I'm the only guitar player. That twin guitar part is a must.

They do a similar thing in a song called "Tear the Woodpile Down". It is available as a free download from his website.
