This song reminds me of the first time I heard Silversun Pickups. I thought, "whoa Smashing Pumpkins are awesome again." This song made me think Peter Bjorn and John had done it again.

Yeah it's a great tune. I thought of buying/downloading the album just to see if I liked the rest of it, but I guess the sound samples I clicked on didn't entice me. Still, it might be good.

My dad band rehearsed a cover of it. It sounded good, but, while I like the song, it's a pretty monotonous number to sing and play.

Some would say that but I love every song on their album Torches. Mark Foster is a brilliant guy and I'm sure he will have his share of hit songs in the future.

If you like Pumped Up Kicks and you haven't heard the album yet go check it out, if you don't like the whole thing you will surely find a couple songs that you like.

I saw Foster The People last night at Brixton Academy in London, I'm a huge fan of their alternative indie/rock/electric sound and pretty much love every song on their album,

Even though they are a new band, everyone I went with we're shocked with the performance they put on, it was incredible! And they performed 'pumped up kicks' as their finale, it was a remix version at around 7 minutes long, check it out! amazing!!http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Jkq548Fcexs

My band tried the same thing, same result. Found it to be a, don't want to call it boring, kinda song without some kind of emotional attachment to it. Dropped it from the set list.
