Pumped Up Kicks
It may have been already posted, so apologies for being late to the party.
What a tune.

This song reminds me of the first time I heard Silversun Pickups. I thought, "whoa Smashing Pumpkins are awesome again." This song made me think Peter Bjorn and John had done it again.

+1 Good tune. Reminds me of something from the early 80's but can't quite put my finger on it. |

Yeah it's a great tune. I thought of buying/downloading the album just to see if I liked the rest of it, but I guess the sound samples I clicked on didn't entice me. Still, it might be good.

Heard this song on the jukebox at the Friday night gig, I thought it was sorta cool at the time, didn't bother to investigate, but it's been haunting me since. Glad I was able to track it down.

I saw Foster The People last night at Brixton Academy in London, I'm a huge fan of their alternative indie/rock/electric sound and pretty much love every song on their album,
Even though they are a new band, everyone I went with we're shocked with the performance they put on, it was incredible! And they performed 'pumped up kicks' as their finale, it was a remix version at around 7 minutes long, check it out! amazing!!http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Jkq548Fcexs They played 3 nights in a row over the weekend :) |

My band tried the same thing, same result. Found it to be a, don't want to call it boring, kinda song without some kind of emotional attachment to it. Dropped it from the set list.
