Name a great California punk band!!

Clit45.

I love punk overall. I grew up with street punk. Most people rank on it but I still think it's some of the best and most pissed off music I've ever heard. Been into punk for 12 years I guess.

The singer is this lil' guy but has the most energy and smart-assed-ness of any punk band I've ever seen. People who talk about "tone" are wankers. ALWAYS WILL BE. rather have krap punk sound any day.

Oh, I thought it said "Great Name for a California Punk Band." I was thinking something like Golden Gate Bridge Jumpers or something.

The Penetrators (Dan McClain pre Country Dick Montana was the drummer.)

I guess you could call Mojo Nixon and Skid Roper punk.

Well, almost all MY favorites have been named here already - except for the Descendents and Minutemen.

I know they've been mentioned at least twice but I have to give props to Social Distortion. I played 'Bad Luck' tonight at my gig; it ****in' rocked.

None of the afore-mentioned are up to the very high standards of The Germs in my opinion.
