that Tele-slinging girl
That Tele-slinging blues guitarist/singer, Joanne Shaw Taylor has a new album for 2010. "Diamonds in the Dirt."
I like. Maybe its a bit more rockin than the previous album "White Sugar." Maybe it doesn't have the pop hits of White Sugar but heavier always wins out. Oh hi, I'm new. |

How about a vid?
It sounds like she's listened to a lot of SRV-and that's a good thing. But I find myself wishing I could understand her words better. She's got the guitar playing down Progbusters but it's the singing and the songwriting that will make or break ya. So what's your favorite Joanne Shaw Taylor song? And where are my manners? Welcome to the TDRPI Progbusters.

See, if she could bring her vocals forward and the guitar back a bit then it presents the song better. The song is everything and everything serves the song.
