Fiction Plane

I don't think I ever saw someone mention this band around here but the guitar guy plays a tele exclusively pared with AC-30's or 65 amps London's.
They are known cause the singer is Sting's son but I think they have more than that to show.

Here's an example:

Can't argue with Teles and AC30s.

I first heard of them when they opened for the Police on the reunion tour; didn't really see the point of those guys needing an opening act, so it struck me as nepotism run amok, but they ARE a pretty solid band. I definitely hear strains of Sting's vocal cords in his son.

Yes. He sounds a lot like Sting in the old The Police times.

I like Joe Sumner as a musician. He knows what he's doing, and the nepotism doesn't bother me in this case.

He's doing enough of his own thing that he doesn't seem like "The New Bocephus".
