Keith Richards tells all.

Deleted by sacizob. Sorry, I didn't notice the swear words in the comment section.

Shock revelation: Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones had affairs, took drugs and got into fights!

News Of The World indeed!

Hehe, yes indeed but the more interesting sentence is:

"Insiders say Keith has already been asked to tone down the book, called Life, after an early draft was deemed too close to the bone. "

on the other hand - these guys are masters of promotion.
we'll be hearing lots more in the months ahead.

Keith Richards is lucid enough to write a tell-all book?

Those two have been talking trash about each other forever. Why would anyone be interested now? I'd be more interested in a rock autobiography that didn't have a VH1 Behind the Music story arc. Something like "After making millions, I invested most of it into promoting self-sustaining small businesses in developing countries, hoping to help them overcome poverty, disease and dependence on Western largess. Here's how to spend time with your family and treat women with respect."

Watch the sales when it hits the stores and tell me later.
do you really think it's gonna be a lame duck? I doubt that!

You might be surprised what the Stones already have invested and donated - gladly they just don't brag about it.
maybe Bono is more your cup o'tea.

Is it just me or is their a tiny degree of hypocrisy in Keef criticising Mick for drug taking?

That's how it apears when tabloids pick it up - but its hard to tell when no one has read what Keith actually has to say.

the same drugs can have totally different impact on different people.
I've seen it.

No, the Stones are in my blood -- saw them live when I was 12 in 1981 at Rich Stadium, promoting Tattoo You. Great show. (Granted, also saw U2 five years later, promoting Joshua Tree -- also great show.) And I've no doubt they are great donors, they've always had a political conscience ("Gimme Shelter," "Street Fighting Man," "Sweet Black Angel," "My Sweet NeoCon," etc.), but it's not bragging I'm looking for, just less gossip, more social relevance. And the drugging and shagging stories are old hat, aren't they?

IMO, they're in cahoots. The book is just another way of making $$$ for the geezers. They will be laughing all the way to the bank.

It would be more fun if Mick wrote about Keith, Keith wrote about Mick, and the books were released the same day. I'd want both.

Peace, Mike.

Well, on the other hand, Keith is old enough to have forgotten at least half of the stories (or stadium concerts). We should all live so long...

Nope. i would have guestimated it was Malcolm Mc Laren - but even that = nope.
There is no such thing as bad publicity except your own obituary.Brendan Behan
