how many wires are there? There should be black, white, red, green and bare. standard wiring-white and red soldered to each other and tapped, green and bare soldered to each other and to the ground, black wire-hot output

According to the SD wiring diagram from the website

White= Full output

Red= Lower or tapped output

Black= Ground

Hope that helps
