60s Tele grounding question

I know this is a stupid question. But I bought a new body for my MIM 60s Telecaster. it was rewired with seymour duncan '54 pickups in this style which is the '66 Tele, in which you can see in this diagram. http://www.seymourduncan.com/support...hematic=66tele

I just unsoldered the pickups and left the controls all wired up, there's no grounding issues... but I'm curious to understand how this guitar is actually grounded? Because in that diagram there is no "ground" wire.

The "ground" wire (black wire) on the pickup is soldered to the plate on the bottom of the bridge pickup- which grounds the bridge, so you don't need a seperate ground wire.
