GFS Fatbody pickups!

I just installed the GFS Fatbody Tele pickups. I am very impressed! the neck is awesome. Has the fatness of a PAF with the high end of a strat. Really great tone. The bridge is the 7K wound version with the big ploepieces. It sounds very vintagy with good bass and not icepicky at all. With my Palomino V32's overdrive channel it really shines. Nice classic rock tones.

Compared with my PRS SE EG's Gold Lace Sensors, the GFS bridge is not as full sounding (PRS is set-neck and mahogany).

Very good pickups for the money~!

I have one in a Partscaster Esquire I put together. Very cool sounding pickup!

That's them. The bridge sounds great on overdrive. Just makes me smile.

Comparing the bridge pickup from GFS to my Lace Sensor Gold on my PRS SE EG which has a mahogany body and set-neck: The Lace Sensor is fatter and rounder whereas the GFS is not as fat and has a sweet top end. The GFS has that tele tone with some extra juice from the big pole pieces.
