the ageless "which pickup question"

I am putting together a tele. This is my 3rd and final tele! 1st is a hw1 with nocasters and 4 way switch. 2nd is a mij 55 ash with v neck and the pickups out of a Baja with a 4 way switch. This one is a Texas hw1 ash body with Baja neck. I am thinking I want something different. Other 2 sound great. I am looking @ the SD Jerry Donahue for bridge. I have no caster neck laying around I might use for that position. I am open to suggestions

Go with some of Pete Biltoft's pickups; either his CC Rider set or a set of his Tele-sized P90's (I have a set of these in one of mine, and they're fantastic). He can also do more "traditional" Tele pups, but you've already got a couple of Teles with those...

Pete charges around $145 for a set; you can order directly from him, tell him exactly the sound you're looking for, and he'll nail it. He also sells pre-made pickups on Ebay; there's an add for one of his T-90 bridge pickups HERE.

Pete winds fantastic pickups, and he's a great guy to do business with; he gets his product out quickly, his prices are very good, and there's no drama (unlike some of the other pickup makers that are revered here).

t 90

I am leaning in this direction. Is there any tele sound to these or is it pure p 90? I have always liked p 90 but never had a guitar with them.
