New Custom Pup winder...BG Pups...great tones

I had Bryan Gunsher of North California Guitars (norcalguitars.com) wind me a set of his Vintage 60s strat pups and asked for them to be a slight underwind (trying to get in the 5.8 range). For $119/set I got a killer set of hand would pups, nice workmanship and guess what...NO LONG WAIT. One week from order to arrival at my door ! These pups are glassy without being too bright, nice clarity and punchy, piano chime on the wound strings and the quack positions are just perfect - quack for days...similar overall to Fender's 57/62 set, but with a RWRP middle and that magic/mojo "hand scatter wound" vibe. Even the pole pieces have a nice bevel on them.

I just had to pass this along as I'm totally floored by the tone, and the cost is great too. Bryan does a tele neck pup (no bridge pup on his site yet, but I believe he's done them).
