Tele Pups......something different

In my "Tele Bodies" thread I was thinking out loud and hoping
folks would chime in when it came to wood, body styles, etc...
for a Tele project design.

Now, for the pups.....

I was thinking HB bridge and a P-90 neck, but of course, there
are tons of options.

~CB~ bounced this off of me and it sounded interesting.....

A Fender '52 RI BRIDGE pup in BOTH the bridge and neck.
Anyone ever do this? Slanted or straight? How's it sound?

Anyone use other pups like Filtertron, Ric, Jaguar, or Jazzmaster pups?

I've done a few unusual things when it comes to pickups (nothing too drastic though):

Seymour Duncan Lil '59 humbucker in bridge (with 3-way switch for single coil, parallel, or series modes), Strat middle, and an AlNiCo Kent Armstrong mini-humbucker in the neck:

Brand new $15 fleaBay special rails humbucker in the bridge, spare Epiphone humbucker from parts drawer in the neck:

MY current favorite "weird" thing to do to a Telecaster is to build switchless, reverse headstock Esquires:

Pete Biltoft makes a Charlie Christian (CC Rider) set that looks pretty cool...

Dials on the black tele with the gold neck bucker

Johnny Crash, I'd be much obliged if you could tell me your source, or any good source you know of, for those dark vol and tone knobs on your pretty black tele with the red tort pickguard. Saw 'em a while back on a custom build mahogany G + L ASAT deluxe, ebony board, been jonesing for some ever since.
Those Vs are great, powerful symbolism that found its way onto many car designs. Have some plated cast 'Kaiser Dragon' script off the side of a long gone warm kelly green '53 Kaiser Dragon four door sedan somewhere around here, the kind of car that looked right with an ivory factory padded vinyl top and wide white sidewall tires. Where on the tele body to place it? That car too had V shaped hood ornament and trunk lid lift.
