New PUs and Bridge on MIM Tele

Earlier this week I put some Fender OV pickups and a 3 saddle (brass) bridge on my MIM Tele. Didn't have a chance to play it because I took it to my local luthier for a proper set-up. I just got it back and OH MY GOD! What a difference! This guitar sounds like a million bucks! I cannot believe what a difference those two changes made...less than 100 bucks total cost.

You just did the 2 things that matter most.

Your all set.

I do the same thing to the MIM's I buy which are mostly the slightly more expensive Classic models of Teles and Strats. I change te pickups and bridge on the Strats and just the pickups cause the Classic Tele already has the 3 saddle bridge. Once I do that they sound as good as any of them reguardless of price.

Yeah, Mark, I just bought a Classic 50s Sunburst (don't have it yet). I've played one before and the sound is sweet. How do the pick-ups compare to Fender OVs (it's stock)?

Thanks,
Mark (too)
