Anybody have an idea of what kind of pickup I have.
Hi all,
A good friend of mine works at Fender, and from time to time has access to some really neat stuff that is either just laying around, or has been tossed into the trash. Recently, he brought me about 4 different Custom Shop Tele bridge pickups. One was a Nocaster, the other 2 were Texas Specials, and the other one is an Abigail pickup. The one that is in question is Abby pickup. It has heavy beveled magnets, light gray cloth rope style coil wrapping, a copper base that is signed Abigail Ybarra 10-14-04, cloth leads and it measures 6.32 ohms. I am gonna give it a try in my B-Bender, but would just like to know if anyone has seen one of these or knows what it is called. Scott |
