The best pots for Lollar P-90's are?

What are the best pot and cap values for the Lollar P-90 pickups? They are single coils and the rule of thumb is 250K for singles and 500K for humbuckers but still I wonder. I dont have a clue for the caps. Anyone know before I load up these pickups?
Thanks,
Rob

I think most people use 500K pots. That is my personal preference.

I talked to Jason Lollar when I bought a set for my Tele Jr and he recommended 500K as a starting point. I believe Gibson tends to put 500K in P90 guitars as well. P90's are single coils but not as bright as tele or strat singles.

Note that Lollar's recommendation was as a starting point, with the idea being that you might want to raise or lower the value depending on your guitar and personal taste. The 500K's worked for me.

I like 500K and .022 cap with Lollar's P-90s. You can always bring the pot value down a little with resistors.

If you wanted to split the difference, Allparts sells 300K pots. I have a pair to use in a dual P-90 guitar I'm working on.

That's my setup, and they sound great. I splurged on one of the Vitamin Q paper/oil caps that are marketed by AllParts.
