Has it been rewound or is it needing to be rewound yet?
The value of it being a 62 goes way down for the fact that it is no longer the original wind. Yeah it's cool that its the original pickup but the original tone is long gone unless you get a good winder who can copy the old wind exactly and then you need to have all the old wire on it to unwind and copy. Just the bobbins and magnets are not worth a big price just because its a 62. IMO

30 dollars to much? its only the magnets, but a friend of my dad is a winder who exactly knows how to wind them. I can get one for 30 plus 25 for the rewind (since he's a family friend I don't have to pay full price) he's done a couple of other rewinds on vintage guitars in our friends circle and they all heve been excellent.

Not sure.
If it is worth that to you then I would say go for it. If it has the gray bottom, probably so even rewound it should be worth that. But you know how picky vintage guys are if you were to sell it. May not even bring 10 bucks but then again it may bring 100?? In case you needto know the wind on it should be about 5.62 to 5.97.
Later.. :D

Bobbins
It would have to be a grey bottom and have the date written on it to be worth anything. If its just magnets and bobbins and no wire no date or anyother marks to verify its a real 60's Fender its worth about $3-5 in parts.
