A pick up problem: The neck is too quiet!

Okay, heres the dealio. I have a Fender Texas Special in the bridge of my Telecaster, in the neck I have a stock Squier (alcino 3) pick up. I need something to match the output of the Texas Special. Any ideas? I want the pick up hot, but not too hot, as I want it for rhythm.

I have been thinking about putting a ceramic pick up in the neck, but I don't know where to find them!

Are noiseless pickups allright agains a Texas Special?

Any suggestion of pickups is welcomed!
Thanks, SGT

Not trying to be a smart-guy

Any reason you're not considering a Texas Special neck?? These are actually quite good, both for rhythm and lead playing ie not overly thick/muddy but more punch than traditional-style PUs.

Another one I always recommend is Dimarzio's Twang King... great PU for relatively little $.

Too hot!

Texas Special necks are too hot. I might consider a twang king actually. Thanks for that.

I've got me a Twang King. Although I haven't put it in yet, I did much research and many folks around here REALLY love the Neck Twang King.
