I am looking for someone to wire in my new PU but want it done right..I live about 3 hours straight south of chicago.

Close to Terre Haute? I think there is a GC there now. Kevin here on the forum here could probably direct you to someone good too.

You can wire in new pickups yourself. It's not hard at all.

A place called "The Luthier Shop" in Springfield has a great guitar tech.

It's not hard at all. __________________ - 3 Gibsons, 5 Teles, assorted other guitars, about a dozen amps, about two dozen pedals, a Smith & Wesson SW40VE, & a .40 SIG Sauer P226R = too many toys, no money, carpal tunnel, and a serious hearing problem.
