Experience with Custom shop '69 Strat Pickups?

Getting opinions for a friend who is considering swapping out the pickups on his 85 MIJ Squier Strat.

They actually sounded pretty good. Nice strong lows and highs, a little less emphasis on the mids.

Nothing bad about them, I just liked my Fralins a little bit more....Got them used for about $100....
