GFS Neck pup polarity?

Howdy!

Got my GFS alnicos here and hoep to put 'em in this weekend. Has anybody here ever experienced the fatboy neck pup (I37, I believe) having to be wired opposite of the diagram/wire color? I thought I'd read around here that if you wire them like it says to, you'll be out of phase. Anybody care to chime in?
