Wire Size??

I'm away from home, and civilization.
I need to make some repairs, but the only wire available is a 22g solid, or 16g stranded. Which would be best? Or should I just wait until I can get the right size?

My toggle switch went bad, and the insulation is brittle and wire a little too short.

any port in a storm will work just fine - use whatever you have and it'll all be ok.

Yeah, we're talking milivolts here, the best would be 22awg stranded. I think I would use you 16 awg stranded. It's easier to work with

I'm using the 22 right now. It's a little stiffer, but I think it'll work fine now that I checked. Probably stay in place better once it's tucked neatly away too.
