Rumplestiltskin Black Rope Pickups!

Hi everyone, I just installed the Black Rope tele set and I'm really impressed! This is the first time I've tried Aaron's pickups. Really sweet neck and bridge tones.

[QUOTE=roknfnrol;4826501]Hi everyone, I just installed the Black Rope tele set and I'm really impressed! This is the first time I've tried Aaron's pickups. I think I might need to order a P90 soon...

Thanks for the demo, very nice. I have Aaron's pups in both my Tele's and they are stellar. 50's Black ropes in the bridge and tallboys in the neck which sound as much like a strat neck as I've ever heard and that's what I wanted. He deserves more love.

The name itself makes me want one.

Nice clip!

I have the same set, including a brass cover on the neck pickup, in one of my Teles. The pickups in my other Teles sound good but they pale in comparison to the Black Ropes.

Aaron makes excellent pickups at very fair prices. Highly recommended.

Another happy Rumpel user here.

Aaron was great to work with and I got exactly what I wanted even though I wasn't quite sure how to explain exactly what I wanted. This guitar had a long history of mods that -stopped cold- as soon as I installed the Black Ropes. They really come alive with a 4-way, too.

Looks like next week will be their 3rd birthday.

I think the A3 magnet is magic. Lately I've tried a lot of pickups and my favorite ones had A3.

They are Killer! I've got them in two fav guitars now. One is a 73' project I've brought back from the dead. Its a killer vintage tele now with Black Rope Tones to match!
