Hi, Another Tucson guy here. I have them in an '81 Ibanez AS-100 and love them. Great clean tones with mucho sustain but at the same time very versitile. If you read the Harmony Central reviews on these they're very accurate which sometimes isn't the case. I didn't choose these pickups because they came with the guitar. The original Super 58s had been changed out so the guitar was priced right. I bought it with the intention of finding some originals and installing them or going with my favorite Duncan Seth Lover pickups. After playing these pickups for awhile, I think they're keepers. The only thing I keep wondering is why these haven't become a best seller. I may change out to Seth Lovers just to find out how they sound in this guitar but the Carvins won't be for sale anytime soon.
