Need those with any experience with Torres pups

Ok, this is for a Strat... I know this is the Telecaster bunch, but you all are the most informed in many cases. So, I may trade my Fender Texas Specials (Strat) for a set of Torres pups, but I'm not sure which set it is yet. I'm not looking for any sound specifically just a change. Are the Torres pups any good? Ive read some negative things about their service but have found no reviews of the pups and nothing on youtube. What can you tell me?

Thanks!

Torre's? You mean like the Rio Grande line?

I had a set of Vintage Tallboys in a CIJ '62RI Fender Strat. They were great sounding pickups, really good ones for a Strat. At the time I was into Strats and had a MIJ Squier with Lace Holy Grails (nice) and an '89 MIJ Fender '68 RI with stock pups + my Fullerton AV'62RI with some mods (nulling coil, mid boost, shielding). The Vintage Tallboys were as good as any of those. I sold the guitar only because I used my AV more.

I've not heard bad stuff about his pups at all.
