Can anyone tell me, or has any one measured the DC resistance of a classic vibe 50's(the orig. off white model) tele bridge pickup? Mine is extremely vintagey weak(I'm guessing 6.5 max and probably much lower). I saw on a thread that it was at about 8.5k. I find that to be impossible considering how thin it sounds, my own as well as others I've heard on you tube. I'm looking at replacing it with a Fender OV. Any answers appreciated!!

My CV 50's Alnico III bridge pup is 9k.

The CV50 A3 bridge sounds anything but thin to me. Now the A5 in the CV50BSB does sound thin to me by comparison.
