Tele neck HB/P-90
OK - I have a question needing the wisdom of the group: I am there with my bridge tone (CS Texas Special) but not as much with the neck (plastic coated wire Twisted Tele). I do like the neck pickup but I find myself craving a bit more (don't we all at times). So I am looking into either a P-90, a Firebird sized mini-humbucker or a Duncan P-Rails with the attendant switching options.
What experience and success/not-so-much has anyone experienced making the switch to one of these? What did you prefer and why? Any and all thoughts, suggestions, ideas welcome. As always thank you. Should any of your IM force be caught or killed, the secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions
