Can I? Should I???
Ive had a Tele now for 3 years---Iwas a 6yr previous owner of a Strat. I retained from the Strat a Little 59er Seymour Duncan pickup, I recall what that pickup did for the Strat---------and very much DESIRE to put it in the neck position of my Tele....as an experiment in tone!!!!!I would have to enlarge the pick guard neck slot very little ....no problem. Its the wiring; and any feedback you could give me (good or bad) would be greatly appreciated Thanks ; Denny

1. Pick guards are pretty cheap, you can always switch back, or pick one up 1st to cut into into it and keep the original "just in case"
2. Wire it up same as a SC and see how it sounds 1st. Don't change pots/caps right away- see how it blends overall. 3. If you like it, and everythings good, try putting in a coil tap switch! disclaimer: I usually wind up putting some kind of HB neck pickup in
