Mare Hayride and Duff Buckaroo bridge pups. Help

Hi, guys. The pickup bug bit me again and I'm jonesing for a new pickup for my partsEsquire.
It has a AVRI 62 body, a maple neck, Glendale bridge and Bakersfield Twang saddles.
I've been looking at Don's Hayride and Owen's Buckaroo. Anybody has any experience with any of these two pickups ? Could you try and describe them ? This guitar is a Country Twang machine exclusively. Thanks for your insight.

Could you go wrong with either?

You and I both know Owens quality and ease to work with. Don strikes me as cut from the same cloth.

Between those options you might find it hard to get a conclusive answer. Always on a "Tone Quest" aren't you! Have fun.

Yep. Once in a while, I get the urge... I know I can't possibly go wrong with either. Owen is indeed a sweetheart to deal with and a pickup wizzard. As you said, Don is of the same ilk... The question is, do you want a Jaguar or a Rolls Royce ? I think I'll have to use my magic 8 ball on that one...

Since you're gonna win this lottery. Just get both of them and the one you don't use send it to me!

I told you it wouldn't be easy to get an answer between these two. Didn't I?

Question: Since your doing up an Esquire. Why don't you look at one of Don's Stangrays or have Owen do something tapped for you? Maybe you don't want to get too complicated? Just asking. I know you'll figure it out. Have fun!
