Fender OV's vs Fender Custom '62's?

I’m trying to decide on a set of Tele pickups and was considering the Fender Original Vintage set, but have come across some used Fender Custom ‘62’s for sale.

The OV’s would be new for around $80
The ‘62’s would be around $65.

The ‘62’s would be a little more “era correct” as it would be going into an alder body/rosewood neck tele.

The thing is – I do not like overly hot or dark neck pickups – I like them to be clear and not muddy at all, and on my strats I universally prefer the neck wound lower than the bridge.
I know the ’62 has a hotter wound neck.

As a rock player I also would be running the bridge distorted alot of the time, so whichever bridge sounds better with dirt would also be better for me.

Has anyone compared the two sets and have any insight?

EDIT - nevermind - I found a set of OV's in like-new condition for $69...
