CV50 Pickup Upgrade to mini-bucker

Hi Guys,

I am looking at putting an antiquity 2 bucker in the neck and an antiquity 2 in the bridge - would these two work well together? and would i need to change anything else? (apart from the pickguard) or would you recommend something else? i am looking for a vintage tele sound with that bit extra from the neck bucker. the gibson mini-bucker looks good to me also - but would that work with the SD bridge pup?

Many thanks

I just finished one with GFS single coil in the bridge position and mini-hum in the neck spot. A wonderful sound emerges with the switch in the mid position - I think because the bridge pup is out of phase with one humbucker coil and in phase with the other.

Balancing output may be tricky; the neck pup is intrinsically louder. I have the bridge up near the strings, the mini-hum adjusted downwards. Or you could go with a hotter wind on the bridge pup. Definitely a combo with possibilities.
