Keystone Deluxe Telecaster set RWRP?

Is the Keystone Deluxe T telecaster pickups set, K-TL with the K-TN, noise cancelling in the middle switch position?

Is the neck tele pickup RWRP?

These sound like a good choice of pickups for the MIM standard tele that I am presently not satisfied with the stock pickup sound. The stock pickups are ceramic and the neck is not RWRP, therefore the pickups are noisy in the middle switch position with zero noise cancelling. The stock pickups are also very noisy in general.

How do the Keystone telecaster pickups sound when compared to standard MIM non-RWRP stock tele pickups?

Feedback is appreciated.

By the way the Wilde pickup website is quite spartan and there is not a phone number to call. Does anyone know about how long I would have to wait for the set of Keystone pickups to be shipped after I place my order? Evidently there is no way to contact the company, email or phone.

Any help here is appreciated.

I am not sure although I did have a set .They are very quiet anyway compared to many pickups .Put a four way switch in to fully appreciate these pups and you automatically get a richer thicker humbucking set up .You dont get a lot of help from BillnBecky .Bills Ill and no doubt Becky is worried so we all understand .Its all down to faith ,hope and clarity ,good reviews and trust .I ordered a set of micro coils ages ago .They are now in the mail .When I ordered them I knew I would probably wait a while .They are all great pickups and worth the trouble and wait .They are special and so are the people involved . Thats my take anyway .

Nice pickups man. Just go for it. Sure you may have to wait a little while at the moment but you will get them. I installed mine in a Tele with a five way and really dig 'em. They're very quiet, but have a beautiful top end to them.

I have a set, and love the tone ! While there are a few that bought them and didn't care for them for whatever reasons, there are LOADS of guys that praise them. I can't see you not being happy with your choice.

As far as noise cancelling (nc), they are excellent, even if you just have the bridge or neck on by itself they are VERY quiet as far as hum/buzz.

They are mfc. to be noise cancelling in position 2, so are super quiet there as far as comparing with other single coils.

Remember RW/RP is a relative term in a SET of pickups, so you can call it as you wish, the neck is rw/rp or the bridge is rw/rp.

As far as standard with Fender Tele pups, those sets that are NOT nc (like yours) the two pickups are north top polarity and for a noise cancel set, the bridge is made rw/rp to the neck. KS's are the same way, the bridge is South top.

After you play them, you'll be amazed as what you got for so little quid !!

The phone number is on the website. I called twice on Monday & Becky answered both times. I ordered MicroCoils & Keystones & a Noise Free. She said 1 to 2 weeks for delivery.

Duffy, like you, I have an MIM Tele. I replaced my stock pickups with Keystones. The difference is indeed night and day, in quietness, sparkle, and tonal range. Great low price, too - go for it.

Get a 4 way switch, too. It's cheap ($15), and then you get a fatter humbucker style tonal range available to you, as well.

Just called & Becky said that the Neck pup of the Tele Keystone set is RW/RP and the Middle pup of the Strat Keystone set is RW/RP. Orders up to the 12th (last Monday) should go out next week. New orders will take 2-3 weeks.

The standard by which the neck pickup is judged.

I placed an order for a set of Keystone Deluxe on Nov.8, they shipped on Nov.22 and I received them in Ottawa, Canada on Dec.6.

I emailed and Becky answered quite promptly. So no problem there.

Hope this helps

+1 - '06 MIM Tele & Love my "Keystone" PUPs. Also have a "4-Way" switch which was a great inexpensive Mod. Am very curious how the "Micro-coils" sound like but I can certainly speak highly of the Keystones. Very quiet single coils with a clear rich tone.....and very reasonably priced.

Can't tell you yet as the guitar is in the shop as we speak having the pickups and a four-way switch installed.

I have set in a CV Thinline, with 5 way switching (both series & series out-of-phase). Superb pickups (at any price) and the RWRP makes a big difference in the series positions! You'll like 'em!!

I have a set of the keystones in one of my custom teles, sound as good as anything I have. I started using the 4 way mod years ago, I bought a Fender CS tele that came setup with a 4 way, converted all of my teles over to 4 way. May take a few weeks for the keystones but its worth it, great pups and especially for the price you will not go wrong. You may have to play with height adjustment to get that awesome tone.
