Duncan Antiquity 55
I want to change the neck pickup in my AVRI 52. I currently have a Duncan Antiquity in the bridge, which I absolutely love, and a Fender Twisted Tele in the neck which I'm not very satisfied with. I've been looking at Duncan Antiquity 55s. Does anybody have experience in those and could tell me what they sound like compared to the regular Ant.
Thanks. P

Duncan makes the Antiquity I line which has alnico 2 polepieces and the Antiquity II line which has alnico 5 polepieces. The polepieces in the bridge models are flat. The neck pickups do sound different, depending on the magnet material.
The Antiquity '55 is a bridge pickup and has raised (not flat) alnico 5 polepieces. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that's how it goes. |

Thanks guys for your imput. I was just wondering because I came accross a couple of SD Ant 55 neck pups on the bay the other day. I was wondering if anybody knew what those were.
