Paul Gilbert Injector Pickups

I'm contemplating fitting one of the Paul Gilbert signature pickups into my tele, has anyone had any experiance of this? How does it end up sound wise?

I understand there'll be a problem because it's a strat shaped pickup, anyone agree with that?

Like a midrangier strat pickup. Quacks nicely in the 4 position.

It's a muscular Strat pickup with a lot of body, but still very identifiable as a Strat pickup. Cross between the chime of a Strat, the body of a humbucker, and the punch of a P-90.
